SPOTLIGHT ON: Keynote Speakers Get ready to be inspired by the renowned keynote speakers at the PSI Conference 2024!  Our keynote speaker on Monday 17th June will be Geert Molenberghs [Director of I-BioStat, Professor at Universiteit Hasselt KU Leuven].  He will give a talk about Biostatistics in a post-pandemic era: lessons learned for research, public health, drug and vaccine development, policy advice, and communication. The keynote speaker on Tuesday 18th June will be Theo Smith [Founder of Neurodiversity World & Neuromine . ai, a Linkedin Top Voice, author of the award-winning book ‘Neurodiversity at Work' and podcast host of 'Neurodiversity with Theo Smith'].  He will give a talk and host a discussion on Neurodiversity at Work: Unleashing Potential in Every Mind PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHT: Pre-Conference Courses On the afternoon of Sunday 16th June the PSI Training Committee and the PSI Scientific Committee are delighted to offer 2 pre-conference courses.  Pre-conference course 1: Bayesian methods for borrowing of information (with applications in clinical trials) Pre-conference course 2: Applying causal inference for effective implementation of the estimand framework in drug development. Registration for both courses is available through the conference registration site. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment, and take advantage of the early bird discount! Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit an abstract for oral presentation this year. We received a record number of abstract submissions (over 180) and the quality was excellent.    You still have some time to submit an abstract for the popular “gone in 60 seconds” (where you have 60 seconds to promote your poster) and poster session. The final deadline is 25th February 2024.  You can find the full list of abstract topics and download the abstract templates below.
